I'm going with the full flush on my Tundra SR-5 when I get to 60K. I'm no mechanic, but after seeing the cutaway and the explanation it makes perfect sense to me. Flushing dislodges these particles and your super clean old transmission will slip and not shift properly. There are hundreds of very thin parts in the transmission that have broken in with contaminates on and between the parts. Flushing a transmission after 100k that has "never" been serviced is not wise. Once the fluid is the correct temp, undo the overfill bolt and let any excess fluid drain until the flow slows to a dribble. The timing mark for the 2F is on the front of the flywheel, not on the crank pulley. This gives you a much larger view of the front of the fly wheel where the timing mark will be.Ģ. To find it (and clean it off) the first time, I find it's easiest to crawl under the truck and remove the clutch inspection cover. You might think about marking it with a dab of white paint or bright nail polish or something. You use this for valve adjustments, etc., but not for setting your timing). This timing mark represents 7 degrees before top dead center. On the 2F engine it looks like a "bb" pressed into the fly wheel. before you start make sure you know what your timing mark looks like. The only thing I would add to the above post is:ġ. It'll be much higher than base, mine was sitting at about 8* after adjusting to about 6* base.ġ1) Drive around and listen carefully for pinging, knocking, etc. After locking the bolt, double check the timing to make sure you didn't change it when tightening the bolt.ġ0) Remove the jumper, and check the timing. What Im wondering about is the fact that Im getting errors on alot of. Try refreshing the SoundSource Browser.' This happens for just about every patch Ive tried. I might have read somehwere about getting all the patches and updates done etc and this may sort the problem. Well, the omni updates are a bit confusing because they have 3 different UDs for software, soundsources, and patches. Try again once finished, quite sure refreshing soundsources in soundsource browser will fix it. Gotta say that this problem was not there in the 1st place and has only seemed to develop in the last few weeks. And then in Omnisphere, refresh patches, multis and soundsources, in their respective browser: Hit the little 'circular arrow' button on the left of play button. Think the best suggestion is to remove all instances of trilium, reinstall app only and hopefully it would ask me to find the steam folder and with fingers crossed it might work from there. So, try to refresh the multis, patches, and sound sources in their related browser. Run the plugin again and try refreshing the SoundSource browser to check for the issue. Now with the FOV at negative value I can see the first apex clearly and make a perfect entry carrying max speed into the second apex and I am able to clip it perfectly without lifting, gaining time on the long run to the Bus Stop. I used to play with a wide FOV because I like the sensation of speed it gives, but I would go into that corner fast in and slow out, not what you want in racing. Example: Stavelot at Spa always gave me trouble. I can really attack them and come out of exits with max speed. The biggest advantage for me has been being able to see the apex of corners so much sooner and so much clearer. Basically I adjust the camera to where the mirrors are not visible unless I use the right analog stick to check them. I don't know my cam settings off hand cos I'm not home, but I will edit this once I fire up my game. Lastly for cockpit users I've gone with what I feel is the most realistic camera view possible based on this video. Catalynya circuit is now as consistent for me as a place like Spa where I was always comfortable. I would have never thought of that before, but dammit it worked like a miracle! I found a site that suggested setting front suspension and roll bar to max stiffness and rear suspension and roll bar to max soft. I was using TRL Limitless setups and a few others but they just weren't working for me. The next thing I changed along with those controller settings was how I was setting up my car. If you feel the car understeers no matter what you do and no matter where you are you need to up this value. Also the best part about this setting is with the right setup the inherent understeer that a lot of pad users have been complaining about disappears in thin air. It will take an hour or so to get used to the added sensitivity, but you will get better with practice. It's the difference between hitting a wall or having four wheels on the curb. I set mine between 40 and 50 and it makes it much easier to make snap adjustments when you enter a corner too hot. For me personally at default values when going through Eau Rouge if I didn't have a perfect line it usually meant a crash or losing a bunch of places.
